ISOM Equipping the saints in the Philippines

Dear Family and Friends,

Rainy season greetings from the Philippines, but warm from our hearts. Yes it's already raining buckets of water here, but it's a welcome as it really helps cool things down for us.

Spiritually, we are stretching as we face new challenges in our life and ministry. It's a blessing when faced with new challenges, you know you have never been down that path, and in order to succeed, you need supernatural wisdom and insights. Time with God, His WORD and in Prayer has just been growing. We are sometimes astounded with some of the prayers of JCjr. who joins us during our corporate & family prayer times.

Family news: we are all spending an hour a day at the local athletic track. JCjr enjoys the space as he can race around on his bicycle and play in the park at the swings, slides and more.... JC & Mila, the doctor gave us a choice...pills or exercise...simple choice reallyJ! Both of us have shed some excess, unwanted rolls. Spiritual exercise plus physical exercise = Prosperous living.

We are so excited at the Arrival of the Sparks family by July 2. This is answered prayer! Since the Women of the World launch in 2005, we have been praying for a base of operations in Manila, the heart of the Philippines. Kevin and Lalen have committed themselves for the next 2 years to handle Manila for us. They will be accompanied by their 2 sons Kyle & CJ. Please continue to pray for them for their adjustment here in the Philippines and to their new roles in ISOM Philippines. It has been quite a battle for them to be here, but God is still bigger than any mole hill the Devil may put in our way.

We have just returned from a 2-day "outreach", We delivered materials for one new ISOM school and a new WOW school in the Cities of Taguig and Valenzuela respectively. Also we visited 2 of our existing Schools, one in Muntinlupa City and the other in Navotas. Please pray for all our schools, when people seriously start getting into the WORD of God and the WORD of God is getting into them, changed lives are produced, the Devil doesn't' like it!

We would like to share a number of testimonies from the students in Navotas:

Sheila Peñaranda: Through ISOM, God exposed many of short comings in my Life, Ministry, Character and Spiritual walk. It amazes me that every topic was timely for my life. I am deeply challenged by the boldness with which the ISOM Speakers share their life messages. My prayer is that I will have that same boldness as them.

Nene Aquilos: I am newly born again and was just attending the meeting at our church when ISOM was launched, I had no idea what ISOM was. At first I was just listening to JC & Mila as they were sharing about ISOM. I didn't attend the meeting to enroll in ISOM but I enrolled just to be "in". I was new. At first, it was a BIG struggle, on my first day I was lost, I didn't even know the songs, I didn't even know how to find the verses in the Bible.let alone memorize the verses for assignment! I always panicked with my assignment questions, because everything was so new to me. Then came the exam.I failed the first time and I was about to quit ISOM. If it had not been for my prayer partners, praying for me and encouraging me I would have stopped. Praise God, He has given me an overcoming spirit, given me a joy to forgive & receive forgiveness, given me a strong foundation in His Word. All the ISOM speakers help me a lot.

Sis. Nene is still growing and now midway through Trimester 3.

Sis. Marina R.Rondina: People often mocked me because of my problem in my speech besides I am unschooled and very insecure. Through the help of the Word of God I learned through ISOM I experienced God's healing and confidence. now I am mightily and effectively used by God to be a leader, to God be the glory !:)

Bro. J Trimoro: I'm deeply challenged while studying ISOM. ISOM change my perspective on life and ministry, in Trimester 3 the teaching of Dr. Reinhard Bonnke ignited my zeal and passion to share the goodness of Jesus Christ. As a result I am part of team that started a new outreach to one of the deepest and most outcast streets of Navotas.

A bit about Navotas: It is a fishing village just north of Manila and has now developed into the major fishing port with industries along those lines. Many from the provinces have flocked here for jobs. A population growth of 49% P.A. has been achieved in recent years. People live anywhere they can erect a "building" , one of the ISOM venues is next to a cemetery , living conditions are .. let the pictures tell the story.

ISOM is making a difference in NAVOTAS, PRAISE THE LORD!Prayer requests:·

Our new strategy working as a team with Kevin & Lalen·

Oneness of heart and mind of how we can be strategic and effective·

Health and wisdom ·

All existing schools to continue through to trimester 5·

Always include HAROLD when praying for us. He has been working with us for the past 4yrs and we really see the spirit of sonship developing in him. He is married to Michelle and they have one and a half year old son, Charlei.

We want to express our heart felt gratitude to all of you who have been praying for us and specifically to those of you who have been sowing into our lives and the ministry God has called us to. Your love and commitment is recorded in Heaven and our God is not unjust and He will not forget your labor and the love you showed Him, as you serve His people.

We love you and look forward hearing from you personally.

Love and Blessings, YOUR MISSIONARIES in the PHILIPPINES

JC, Mila & JCjr. Sterley
